Most Awkward Situation You've Ever Been In?

There's where you went wrong my friend....you were NICE to the chick! WTF were you thinking, you NEVER be nice. Ever. Never compliment her, never make her feel special, never give her gifts. If she's anything like most girls that put guys in these kind of situations, I can tell you pretty much what's going to happen next.

- If you text/call her, she won't reply/answer.
- When you see her in cl@ss, she won't talk to you, or even look at you more than maybe once.
- When you see her in cl@ss, if you try and talk to her and see what's up (even innocently and genuinely), she'll either avoid you or give you a non-answer and you'll only make things worse.
- Her friends will most likely stop talking to you mysteriously.

Basically dude, she's giving you the silent and evasion treatment and that never ends well. A female friend of mine said that girls usually do that for one of two reasons:

- They like you but daren't tell you for fear of rejection
- They don't like you but daren't tell you for fear of hurting you

In my experience, this has rung painfully true, mostly as the latter.

I'm just pissed because shes just too damn shy and quiet, but when she did talk, it felt forced and I couldn't hear her half the time. And everything was school related, its like she just used me as a guide so she wouldn't get lost at school. I had a feeling that's what would happen. I seriously don't know wtf I'm gonna say to her at school. Am I just gonna say "hey, guess what? I used the gift I got you hahahahaha (gift card) you snooze you lose *****."

I'll tell you what's funny though. In a situation like this, we guys seem to react and demand an explanation like it's a multi-year relationship going pear-shaped, even if it's only a first date.

A strange sensation, that's for sure.

A word of advice: if she keeps this up for more than a week max, just give up on her. The struggle for salvation is not worth it, I can assure you. You'll only end up frustrating yourself and feeling emotionally tattered.

Yep, I know it'll be hard to avoid her at school since we have a class. I don't know I may be over analyzing it, I wasn't really clear what I was gonna do when she was in her class, however, before I could say anything she just went in like I didn't exsist.

Tagging "Brad sucks **** for coke" all over my neighbor's dorm room door as a prank. Then he and his entire family (parents, siblings, grandparents") get off the freakin elevator. We ran into a room and shut the door to hear him yell "WHO THE F**** DID THIS?!?!?". Then his grandmother sat in the hallway watching him wash it off. Not so much embarassing for me as it was for him haha.

For me, it would be the night we built a luge and we were towing eachother around on the streets behind my friend's truck. I was sitting on the luge holding on to the rope as my friend tied it to his hitch when a cop pulled up. She asked what we were doing and my friend says "just tying some rope to my truck" as I sat on the luge with a hard hat. Thankfully we were in the uber-ghetto, so the cop cared more about other crap and just told us to "take it to private property" (!!!!) So we went to some parking garages...because apparently that was more legal.

The thing with my "talk" was that is was a result of me going on certain...websites which you had to pay for and they appeared on my dad's Internet bill. But I never knew about such fees.

So there was I sitting there all innocent one day and my dad approaches me in a very stern manner and says something to the effect of: "Erm, Luke...I was just filing my bills and it seems that there are certain...extra costs on here..."

I saw what was written on the bills and nearly died inside. How had I been rumbled? :cry: So downstairs we went to the conference table and it was then that I was subjected to what seemed like an eternity of chit-chat about how those kind of things were only for "grown up people" and the inappropriateness of my conduct. :roll:

Needless to say, I only look at the free stuff now. 8)

mine was very similar to yours... I had a folder full of ahem "stuff" and my dad happened to stumble upon it when looking for our holiday photo's....

he waited until I went on teh computer and he just walked upto me and said that theres some stuff on the computer that I should delete. And then he sat down next to me and started telling me all manner of things I did not want to hear.

Heh, that's harsh. I never have and probably never will save any of the good stuff onto my PC, mainly because other folk use it on occasion and them discovering it would just be another awkward moment.
