[QUOTE="Thagypsy"]I also find "Where the Red Fern Grows" depressing.Panzer-schreck
Try reading the book.
I did both. Sad enough to make me want to cut my wrists.[QUOTE="Panzer-schreck"][QUOTE="Thagypsy"]I also find "Where the Red Fern Grows" depressing.Bloodbath_87

I did both. Sad enough to make me want to cut my wrists.Indeed, that is (to date) the book that has made me cry the most. And it is an extremely rare occurence for me to cry whilst reading or watching a movie. Those hunting dogs were special...:(

Amen!
Probably the saddest Disney movie.
It made me cry the last time I saw it, which wasn't that long ago.I watched it last month or so. Still so sad. I'm scared to read the book, because I've heard it's worse, and I wouldn't be able to take it. :(

That book was mandatory reading for me in elementary. I was a wreck when I was reading it. Looking back, it's totally ridiculous for young kids to read that book, that's so depressing and sad. :(

Yeah same here. I read it in 4th grade and was shattered. I read it a few other times in the many years since then, it wasn't any easier. Such an excellent book, though.

It was so dull it's depressing.
Not as dull as Bi-centennial man.
That was the longest movie ever.
Did that star Robin Williams?
I'm doubtful. I don't think Williams was capable of putting forth such a mechanical, soulless, unenjoyable performance. Must have been a clone of him, or his boring twin brother.
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]The book (Watership Down) is better. Good movie, though.canary7
I haven't read the book.
It's very good. Richard Adams.I'm not big on sad movies, I prefer comedies. But the one that springs to mind is I Am Legend, with the dog.AirGuitarist87Yeah...that made me cry for most of the movie.
[QUOTE="HardQuor"]Grave of the Fireflies. If you haven't seen it, it's the saddest anime movie you'll ever see from Studio Ghibli. I think there's plans for a live action version, too.NaiKoN9293
that movie is so incredibly spirit crunching that there are no words to describe it.
Yup.
Anything from Tim Burton.
Doesnt matter what movie it is, they all give off a weird depressing vide to me.
i once saw this movie called "Sublime"
horrifyingly depressing
basically the worst possible state a human could be in
