The Mummy 3 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Best Mummy yet? Really?

For me it was Burn After Reading and Tropic Thunder, neither of which I thought were very good. One movie that surprised me by its quality though was Ghost Town.

I'm not sure what I'm surprised by more:

that you actually went to see it or that you thought it was going to be good.

I like most mike myers films - I even don't mind the cat in the hat. If I had just stopped to read at least one review..... oh the horror....

I never really get to hyped up for many movies. I got excited for the Dark Knight though . and was not disappointed in it. I looked forward to The Hulk. And that was pretty disappointing to me. I liked it but was expecting more from it.

I definitely was not disappointed with the Dark Knight. I ignored the hype before I saw it, and was amazed. Awesome movie. I suppose I can understand how some would have been disappointed because of the hype though. As for disappointments, I don't really know. I haven't seen many disappointing movies this year.

All of the ones I've seen so far have been great. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Death Race though.

Wanted, then again I didn't think it would be good but I did think it would be average.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I was hoping it would stand with the older trilogy, but it was pretty average. it had some good monets, but it just felt "off", it didn't feel like an Indiana Jones film at all, and the excessive CGI didn't help (it's not that I am biased against CGI, if it's done well, but here it was overused and obvious, which takes you right out of a film)

Nancy something i think.

I was most disappointed by Righteous Kill because I didnt even hear a thing from papers or websites at all.

Now the Soup's version of Righteous Kill I would see.

I saw the trailer for that, and the part where Angelina Jolie spins the car so he gets "caught" inside his seat made me not want to see it. It was just plain stupid. I did enjoy the movie though, but it was very predictable about half-way through.

Indiana Jones 4 was disappointing, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't nearly as good as Indy 1 and 3. And the Mummy 3, that was very, very disappointing. Maria Bello and Luke Ford performed terribly in that movie, they were the worst excuses for replacements ever.

WALL-E was the only film that I was really dissapointed by this year. I haven't seen the Mummy 3 yet though, but that would probably beet out WALL-E if the reviews are any indication of it's quality.

I disappointed me, not sayign I didnt like it, but I didnt love it either. It was a very good hollywood movie with some great acting, nothing more. There are better films this year imo.

For me its either Dark Knight or Righteous kill. Not that dark knight was bad, I thought it was really good. But the hype that film got was ridiculous, best film of the year, best film ever etc. I thought it was a exceptionally good hollywood film, I wouldnt call it one of the best ever or the best of the year even. Righteous Kill just made me sad that such great actors like pacino and De niro are such sellouts. Film-Guy

I chose those 2 aswell, Dark Knight was good but I was expecting better after sooo much hype, and righteous kill was just average.

Also Appaloosa disappointed me the most. I was so looking forward to seeing Viggo mortenson and Jeremy Irons in a good westerm, then it turned out to be a very dull film with terrible jokes thrown in for no good reason, and Renee Zelwegger.

How in the world could you be disappointed in that movie? :?

I haven't seen many movies this year, and I thought that the ones I did see were on par, if not above, what I was expecting.

From what I remember you weren't exactly thrilled to see it so I don't see how you could be disappointed with it.

That hasn't been released near me yet... it was bad? I thought it looked pretty good.

It wasn't bad as such - but it wasn't the masterpiece that everyone says it was: it is incredibley depressing and morbid. There is not very much of a story arc either.

Righteous Kill... I mean, I didn't expect it to be as good as, let's say, Heat, or anything, but I expected it to be at least reasonably entertaining...

On the other hand, Speed Racer was definetly the most surprisingly good movie of the year.

I haven't seen Righteous Kill but from the reviews I've seen it might just go straight to video here in Australia.

I just can't believe that two actors - once the best in the world - have now thrown their careers away to rubbish really. They sold out.

This.

After the three awful prequels you expected it to be good?

Is that movie even cannon to SW?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It epitomized everything that was wrong with the prequels and then some. I was expecting better after Episode III.
