What did he do?CrimzonTideI can't express my hate here completely, but suffice to say he is, and will be the worst governor any state has ever had. In order to cut spending, he decided to take from public schools. He has attacked the economic problem by blindly cutting hundreds state jobs. What's more, New York is losing businesses and corporations left and right to avoid the massive and ridiculous new taxes he has imposed. It's getting very hard to live in this, one of the most taxed states in America before the crisis, and only getting worse. This is the guy who came after Spitzer, right?
Our river caught on fire :(DarknessLionHow did that happen?
I dunno. Someone do Maryland. What do we do that's embarrassing?Travo_basicIs Maryland Fried Chicken any good? I've seen those restaurants here in the south. haha, I've never had it at a restaurant, but I've cooked it. It's good.

Or one of the highest? yeah, Baltimore isn't so hot. Though I used to work right in the middle with no problem. I did get mugged at gunpoint once there  But not when I was working.
It's New Jersey

Haha. Same. I love it though, but there's a lot of messed up people. :)
Wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world.
Uhh...my state likes beer too much I guess
Not that it is really a bad thing :P
We have a lot of drunk drivers I guess though
And we hate everyone in IL and MN, MI is cool though
That's a bad thing? Which state?Uhh...my state likes beer too much I guess

And its Wisconsin, we cant get enough
but you have The Red Wings in your state! :o I have no professional hockey teams in my state :( Neither do we and we have to share our football team with the state above. Actually, it's probably just theirs. :P
Detroit. It doesn't get more embarrassing than that.Swanogt19
I live in Doncaster, South Yorkshire which is known for:
Prostitution
AIDS
Child abuse
and Obesity
Hurray! :P

IDK about all of Michigan, but Detroit has some major corruption when it comes to politicians. The embarrassing parts don't really come from how bad they are, but the fact that people know how bad they are and still vote for them.
Our ex-mayor(kilpatrick) used city money to buy his wife an escalade, this was exposed and people still elected him to a second term. After that he cheated on his wife with his head of staff(no pun attended), no big deal but then he fires the cops that witnessed the affair and said something about it(they sued and are now millionaires).
The best part was he denied the affair the whole time until the feds stepped in and found some text messages on his phone, they read them on the news, it was funny. He went to jail for a while and resigned.
Latelywe have city council members going to jail for taking bribes from waste management companies, particularly monica conyers (wife of federalhouse rep john conyers).
I live in Connecticut and that's an easy question to answer.
Most embarrassing thing about my state is our governor, Jody Relle.
Not as embarrassing, but it is hilarious. Someone got me a license plate from that place once. I live not far from there. o.0 ...and I have never had a desire to stop as I drive by. At least, not since I was 5 years old. What about South of the Border, that place is hilarious.

Michigan's a scenic state, no doubt, but the corruption in Detroit overshadows it all and no one wants to come here. :(nice post.... financement autolyradenWho are you talking about? And who are you really?

Our river caught on fire :(DarknessLionHow did that happen?Apparently, oil and chemical-coated debris had collected in the water and was ignited by sparks from a passing rail car.
