When its so exciting how is that a bad thing? That finals game last night was AWESOME!

Engrish_Major

If you're watching, maybe it's not. (I never really enjoyed watching it, but I guess it's different for those that do). I'm really just referring to when I used to photograph games, and wanted to go home. 2 minutes on the clock was misleading...

Lol that makes more sense. I just generally love basketball. Except I do find college basketball fairly boring compared to its european and NBA counter parts.

Love baseball, football, and basketball. The most exciting is probably football for me.

I say we should assume football means soccer. if you're talking about american football, then write american football, or amerfootball/a.football or whatever.

I love to watch US Football because it is just so great when those huge hits happen and when a big play is made or it's a close game or something. I also like to watch Basketball, Hockey and Lacrosse just because they are nice and fast paced. I don't like to watch Baseball and Soccer because they are so boring. I went to a Revolution game a couple of weeks ago because my friend invited me and I almost fell asleep. I know their are exciting games though, I saw some of the Olympics but was still not overly impressed.

Baseball and Football (NFL) for me. I've given hockey a chance but I never got into it. Soccer is ok when the World Cup is going on. Same for Tennis during the US Open.

I think sport enjoyment is probably 80% support and passion, and 20% actual sport excitement. If you're passionate, it doesn't actually matter if excitement doesn't come along very often, which is why I'll still watch a football/soccer match if there aren't any goals. Basketball on the other hand, is hugely exciting, but because I don't have much passion for it, I can't appreciate that excitement, and wouldn't mind turning off the most exciting game in history.

I think this explains why some people cannot possibly understand the attraction of certain sports; sports which have dedictated, passionate fans but which appear incredibly dull or silly, or unappealing. Think about that the next time you insult a sport :P

Football (Soccer) By far is the most exciting sport in the world, Why?. Because everyone plays it. Not just your own country but the whole world. Their is nothing likethe Worldcup or aChampions league. So much emotion, So much rivalry. I love it!.

zero9167

north america doesn't play it (well we play it but not on the same scale as the rest of the world.) I personally don't find soccer interesting. It sure does have some hardcore fans tho :P

You can say that again about it having hardcore fans hahaha I'd have to go with Football(soccer) as well because where else do you see people issuing out headbutts? haha

I'm american too but the world does not revolve around us, so it's right to use the correct names for the sports since this site isn't usa-only

I like soccer most because I grew up with it, and I like it as a sport too. It's especially amazing when there's a great match like the CL Chelsea - liverpool (4-4, legendary match), or in the euro championships Netherlands vs. France (4-1). Soccer may not get the most goals, but it's also fun without goals, and when there's finally a goal it's usually a thing of beauty too. Especially in modern soccer you'll see a lot of insane goals.

I like Hockey and American Football the most. I mean for starters the last 3 minutes of the game doesn't take 15 minutes (I like basketball but the last few minutes of a close game are so damn long), and it actually keeps your attention longer than baseball (I like baseball but it's not exactly the fastest sport in the world)

Proper football (soccer) without a doubt.

Twenty20 cricket can be very exiting too, but overall it shouldn't replace proper cricket.
