I saw Miley Cyrus once. :(
I wish I hadn't though.

You met Magneto O_O (or "Lady Ian McKellan" as he is known in West Hollywood)Quite a few British celebrities and sports people, mainly football players.
As for international ones, obviously two incarnations of Nine Inch Nails. I also met Nicky Wire of the Manic Street Preachers, and Sir Ian McKellen. Those are the biggest.

Michelle Obama is supposed to speak at the White House Farmer's Market on Vermont Avenue in about 30 minutes. I'm going to try and sneak out then and see if I can see her there. It is raining a little though :(Engrish_MajorIf you see her, try to ask what it's like being married to a Jedi

I met Tim Burton while he was shooting Mars Attacks. A lot of the scenes were shot a few mile from my house. My (now ex-) wife is the little asian woman that comes running out of the farm house at the very beginning of the movie when the burning cows are running down the road. I took a day off work and sat down there and watched them shoot the scene. Very cool to watch how the magic is made.
At the end of the day Tim Burton was thanking all the actors and when he came over to my wife, she introduced me and I shook the man's hand. Seemed like a decent guy. A little weird, but decent.
I'm not a brit and I know perfectly who he is...I once saw Roy Keane at a restaraunt. Only brits will know who he is.

There was a huge line to get in :( I can't be out of the office for that long, so I gave up. Secret Service everywhere, though.
The concept of fame is over valued in modern society.... Really.. there is nobody important enough to care about. Yet, people grasp for their idols.. to give them hope. Such petty lives.
But how will our lives be complete without touching a celebrity's other-worldly skin or looking into their trash? :VThe concept of fame is over valued in modern society.... I really enjoyed the concert cause they played a lot of old songs in stead of just the really famous ones.
They played Rock You Like a Hurricane at the very end of the concert. It was great. :)
I've seen a bunch of Mets/Yankee players in person at baseball games, I met Don King once at a diner in Flordia. I also met two Giant players down the block from my house..I can't remember their names, im not a big football fan. Ive seen a bunch of concerts/shows where popular bands were playing.
[QUOTE="Teenaged"]But did they rock you... like a hurricane?Unless you meant that as it is meant in the song as an innuendo? D:Nah never saw anyone that famous.

Roslin from nBSG was on my plan in a trip back to Toronto. I actually went and ask her "Are you Roslin from nBSG?" She responded with a smile and a nod.
That I've actually met... Dwight Howard or Tim Tebow. I've also met Julius Erving, Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill, and quite a few others.
Most famous person that I've seen in person but didn't meet is prolly P. Diddy aka Puff Daddy or Kanye West.

I was sitting next to Missy Elliot in the airport and didn't even realize it until after I got on the plane.VandalvideoHeh, a few years ago my bf and I were walking down the street here in SF and I saw Adam Sessler from X-Play standing outside a restaurant smoking. I said under my breath to my bf "It's Adam Sessler". My bf couldn't hear me and said "What?" I repeated it a little louder and he still didn't hear me, so I said it louder and my bf and Sessler both heard me. I just waved and smiled kind of sheepishly as we walked by. Oh and working two blocks away from CNet, I often see Gamespot luminaries around ;)
That would be awesome :DIsaac Brock of Modest Mouse -- unless the guy stole his face, voice, and name...

James Wood, when I was working at Starsucks. I took his order and my friend made his drink. No one was in the store so we wanted to get him out pretty quickyl before everyone started hastling him, he was going to a poker tournament in Vegas. Then Matthew Gray Gubler from 'Criminal Minds' I made his drink and people were swarmed around him, he was really nice and his girlfriend/wife was really pretty. Then Sandra Bullock, she bought all our snowman cookies, she was very nice also. This was all from working at Starsucks.
