[QUOTE="darkSIDEechoes"][QUOTE="hockey73"][QUOTE="Cerussite"] [QUOTE="hockey73"]Those are indeed emo bands, i guess it depends on what your defination of emo is i guess. Cerussite
They aren't. They don't even sound remotely emo, which is funny that you insist on calling them emo. They're Hot Topic punk, if you want to have a title for them.
Fine whats your defination of emo in terms of music?
Yes, DO tell. I love how the heat switched to you!
But please, dooooo tell.
Okay, I "wiiiiiil" tell. :| Jesus.Emo=Emotive Hardcore. Hardcore=Hardcore Punk.
Hardcore=this
Therefore,
Emotive Hardcore=this. Ignore the background, a tool made that video.
yes you have given me examples(yes i did infact listen to both, or atleast some of both), yet you haven't given me a written reason(like what qualities in your eyes make an emo band). Don't you agree there isn't "one" type of emo, all bands don't have to sound the same, grant it they have to sound similar. I still feel the bands i have listed fall under that category, although the term "emo" breaks into various categories as well.
