[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]

[QUOTE="JasonDarksavior"] I get what you mean but in the case of Hitler that man was messed in the head bad.JasonDarksavior

Yet again whats the difference? Andrew Jackson purposely sent small pox blankets to local Native Americans.. He signed the Indian Removal Act.. Which led to the trail of tears.. He may have never killed as many as Hitler But in the end who knows because Andrew Jackson did not have the same kind of resources and control Hitler did.. This is not defending Hitler nor condoning his actions.. I am merely pointing it out that Hitler's ideals may have never been a anomally only the fact that he was able to get so much power to do so.. How many more genocides in history would occur if the wrong people got ahold of enough power?

Not very familiar with US History but are you saying that Hitler was perfectly sane? :o

If Hitler were to have gone to trial today.. He would have been judged clincially sane and competent enough to stand a trial.. Hitler knew what he was doing, and did so due to his own bigotry and hatred towards certain types of people.. He was most certainly a psychopath.. But being psychotic is not insanity.. If that were the case one could never convict a mass murderer within the United States because they would never be competent enough to be charged with the said crime.

[QUOTE="Solid_Snake325"]Wow, GG Allin is disturbing indeed. Very interesting read, thanks. Can't quote the user for some stupid reason..JasonDarksavior
What did he do?

He was a punk rocker who would mutliate himself and others during his concerts as well as defecate on stage. He was also obsessed with death and serial killers, ex.visited Gacy several times in prison and idolized him, he was also charged with rape, beat more people up, etc. Died of a heroin overdose in the end.

He went to prison over 50 times for his stage acts alone. He was a terrible person but he lived a more free life than anyone could ever imagine. He ignored any rules/boundaries enforced on him by society, for better or for worse. Once at one of his shows, somebody threw a dead cat on stage and GG began having sex with it. Yeah the dude was a lunatic, but some of his music was actually very good (check out the Jabbers, it was his first band and it was before he was insane).

You had me at idolizing Gacy. Unless he thought he was innocent and falsely accused (which would be hard since he admitted to it), Gacy fandom has no business sharing space with a sane mind.

Napoleon insane? Hardly he was a genius.

Hahaha, if u think Napoleon wasnt insane then u must think Hitler wasnt. Napoleon was pretty unpredictable and would crush anyone who resisted him with deadly force. Insane? No, not at all.

Check this video out. It should give you a basic understanding of GG Allin.

It's funny most people think of him as a good guy. He sentenced more Native Americans to death by hanging than any other judge in the history of the United States.

There are many many insane characters throughout history. Some of my favorites are Mao Zedong, Kim Il Sung and his son, Hitler (of course), Henry VIII (maybe not insane...but still interesting)...I know I'm missing some of my favorites, but I'm very tired.

Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Bush Jnr. to name a few. All subject to megalomaniac fantasies of living up to imaginary legacies which never existed.

Arsephixiation

Schwarzenegger in that list? I don't think so. Regarding bodybuilding, he inspired millions and is widely regarded as the king of bodybuilding. He has an old school alpha male kind of masculinity and attitude to achieve, such as pushing his mental and physical boundaries to beat many others in the 1970s and 1980 to be crowned Mr Olympia 7 times. And not to mention, he has acted in some of the best action movies ever :D This quote by him from Pumping Iron sums it up well -

"I'm a strong believer of Western philosophy, you know. I was conquering, I was achieving, I was climbing, getting higher and higher to the top and all those things...because that's in my opinion what life is all about. Living rich, rather than just existing and wasting away your life, since you only have one."

Disregarding his marriage problems lately, I think he has been an exemplary example of someone to aspire to in terms of fighting for your dreams :)

He was most certainly a psychopath.. But being psychotic is not insanity..sSubZerOo

This is incorrect.

Psychopathic = having a personality disorder related to ASPD.

Psychotic = insane = having lost touch with reality.

Psychopathy is not the same as psychosis.

A psychopath lacks empathy or regret.. They can still understand what they are doing is wrong and illegal within society though and do it any way.. If this were not the case, these serial killers would not be secretive and show a active sense of never getting caught...sSubZerOo

You're right that psychopaths can understand that illegal actions are illegal. However, not all psychopaths believe that illegal actions are inherently wrong.

On the other hand, some psychotic people, as a result of their psychosis, may be incapable of realizing illegal actions are illegal, and are more likely than non-psychotics to be hospitalized than imprisoned for committing an illegal action.

Mussolini was not crazy..certainly not in comparative terms to other dictators and people who have craved power. One of the most insane people in history he is not. I'm not defending him, I'm just pointing it out.

Any man who wishes to systematically eradicate a race is of no sane mind. (Hitler)

I see the normal run of the mill, everyone knows, bunch like Hitler Stalin, Caligula, etc. How about a change of pace. How about Tom Cruise and every other whacked out whacko they call Scientologists. For any of you who are or are sympathetic, I'm sorry, but when you believe that you have things like clears from crystals and that aliens founded humanity and other things like that, I'd have to say, lay off the sci-fi channel for a bit.

Of history is boring, I'm sure someone can name some dustry crusty piece of work more insane then what I could dig up, modern day is where it's at, some pretty crazy people in the entertainment industry with some stories to tell, then we got dictators but that's a different type of crazy.
