most overrated band ever?

i dont really know. i mean i like ACDC but every1 says they so great but i really dont think they're THAT good. but still a very good band non the less

most cIassic rock bands. IMO there is very little substance to the music. they find a cool riff, slap some catchy lyrics to it and make a platinum album :?blooddemon666

Well, you can believe what you want, but i'm of the firm thought that all bands are rated as they are for a reason, and that saying it's overrated because you don't like it is meaningless. Just my two cents, carry on.aaaaarrrrggggg

The reason I pick bands as overrated is due to fan reaction....not the band itself.;)

ummmmmmmmm im speechless. that dosent make any sence. i mean so u might like iunno modern metal and u listened to classic rock bands and didnt like them. well alot of older plp like them cuz thats what they grew up with, then young plp who like it like it cuz they arnt satisfied with modern music. i personaly love classic rock but i also like some modern music as well(just not rap or alternative)

No, I respect Bob Dylan as an artist. But I don't think his music is as revolutionary and amazing as most people make it out to be. Not that I don't like him, but that I think he is overrated.

Nirvana - Good, but doesn't stand out above most rock bands.

ACDC - Talented, but IMO their music is boring.

agreed. i'm a tool fan, even to the point where'd i call them one of my all-time favorite bands. however, i hate most of their fan base. i once recommended opeth and porcupine tree to a group of tool fans, and they immediately started swearing at me for "attacking the best band in the world." they act like tool is the only band they can listen to...

anyway, i'd say kiss is the most overrated band. almost all of their songs are extremely repetetive, and are all very simplistic.
