You jerk, that was me! That really did happen to me though...
I got a detention for throwing yogurt in the lunchroom and hitting a security guard. I didn't go to it so they gave me two ASP's which are two hour detentions. I didn't go to one of those and they gave me two in school suspensions. I went to the other ASP's and caused so much trouble in one of my in school's that they gave me another one on top of the one I still had to serve. I served my next two and was free to go. Needless to say, I hate my old high school.
A teacher walked up too me and asked for my ID, and I dodnt have it:(alexmurray
Ha they are trying to do this in my school. But I have a feeling they are giving up. I never wear my stupid ID. I never had to do this my other 3 years so why would I do it my senior year. Also, on days when I have a varsity soccer game, we wear soccer stuff so obviously I go to the dang school, what is the point in asking? :P
The principal of my high school got rid of detentions (long before I got there) because they weren't productive and some teachers abused them. He also secretly encouraged a little mischief (He would blatantly turn a blind eye to it unless as long as it wasnt anything major and wasnt a kid who was regularly in trouble) The assistant principal was a good bit stricter but she stayed in her office most of the day. We got away with some crazy **** in highschool.
They didn't have detention at my elementary school and your had to do something really stupid to get in detention in Jr. High.
Once in 6th grade my math teacher got pissed because I didn't turn in my homework like 3 days in a row, so he gave me a detention but when I showed up to it he told me to just go home. Huge WTF moment.
I also once got yelled at by a teacher for hugging this girl in the hall between classes.
