So what has personally happened to you in the past decade that has had a big impact on your life?

For me, the number one would probably be back in middle school ('04 - '06) where I was "abused" and broken (mentally and physically). I'm fine now, but it took 4 years to fix (did it all by myself! -proud) and has shaped me in many ways in nearly every aspect of my life.

My number two would probably be improving my athletic skills to the point where I am now one of the best runners in the school (#2 to be exact. There is a sprinter who runs 49.xx in the 400m who is amazing. Not to mention I run the 800m and mile). It's a major factor in applying to colleges. I also have many friends through track.

How about you guys?

I don't know. I'm sure there was something.. I just forgot about it because my life isn't in a very good place right now.

Probably getting into uni, the first step to becoming a doctor. Also, I became much more well informed about trance music which I love.

Getting into the University of Chicago... I honestly can't picture myself at any other college now that I've been here for over a year.

As less significant (but still awesome) ones... getting into metal and PC games. :D

Moving from the US back to Europe. Big, big, big life change. Things went completely different from then on and my life is insanely different then from what it could be if I still lived in Colorado.

Growing up generally. This is the decade where I spent the majority of my late childhood and adolescence. Discovering the internet and coming into contact with loads of information, opinions, and viewpoints could be considered pretty major.

Graduated high school and college.

Learned a lot from various relationships. There were some hard days in there but I've come out much stronger as a person.

I've grown exponentially emotionally and spiritually.

And pretty much anything else normal in moving from 12 to 22.

Gotta admit.. hasn't been the most fantastic decade of my life. But things could be a hell of alot worse so who's to complain.

Basically, everything big you'd expect from someone entering the decade as five years old, happened to me.
