The movie rocks, and I like Carlton Leach as a character. But it's definitely a dude I don't want to hang out with.

Good answer. Not only was Phoenix fantastic in a great movie, but he was utterly deplorable and a great foil to Crowe. That guy from Gladiator.
The one who wanted to do his sister.
EDIT: Great actor though.

Wickus Van Der Merwe is one of the most unlikable characters I've seen recently.
Ugh, this. I despised him. Also, Robert Carlyle's role as the Father/Dad in 28 weeks later, both before and after he was infected.D3nnyCraneThis too, and I also second L'il Ze.
aragorn from lord of the rings. aragorn is supposed to be tough, not a well groomed metrosexual.Democratikgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr anyways I'm going to say Captain Vidal from Pan's Labyrinth. I don't think I have ever wanted someone to die so much in a movie.
Jar Jar Binks
Carter Burk
Emo Peter Parker
anyone in Twilight (admittedly, I've never seen these movies. but just from the ads I want them to all get strangled)
The Town Sheriff from Rambo (part 1)
EDIT: forgot to add Jigsaw and his apprentices from SAW

How can i forget her?! :x
She screamed almost all the way through the movie!!
Another notable was the moron who wanted to go down the pipe in Jeepers Creepers instead of calling the police and having them take care of it instead. He deserved what happened to him....
This. There are loads of characters who are evil and immoral, there are few who you learn to hate with every fiber of your being. Some villains were still evjoyable to watch, such as Daniel Plainview. I hated this lady. Shooting her was the greatest achievement of any character in the movie.
Ruin the entire movie for me. It was looking good til she open her mouth...:x

Any thing with Nicholas Cage.C-LeeI understand it's cool to hate Nicolas Cage, but seriously? All his characters are that awful? I thought he was good in The Weather Man.
That good and proper right wing chick who takes over hogwarts in that one harry potter movie.......man I wanted an anvil to land on her head
Ruin the entire movie for me. It was looking good til she open her mouth...:x

What movie is that from? And as for my own, I'd like to say the racist father in "To kill a Mockingbird." The one who tried to kill the kids. What movie is that from?
She did die. She got shot by one of the store clerks. She was ordering everyone to take the child and kill him.
Well, I'm not sure if this was the director's - or Stephen King's - intention, but I thought her character was more important than just to be an annoyance. I thought she was the symbol of religion - forcing it onto everyone that is trapped inside an isolated area and trying to survive. They witnessed her being "unharmed" by one of those creatures (when everyone else around her is being slaughtered). Most of the store then follows her - hoping that she will help them survive. She, in turn, leads everyone else to pretty much the level of insanity (e.g human sacrifice).
Now, I thought her death was kind of a statement on some religions.
I'm sure there's much more to it than that..
