I don't know why people hate Keanu's acting so much. I have seen several movies of his and have never noticed this so-called 'wooden acting' that you mentioned. To make fun of his acting is like some big cultural trend, but I honestly have never noticed it.

WTF? No. The Levator labii superioris, caninus, and masseter muscle groups make up most of the face. While most people don't have very good control over these muscles (that's why a fake smile looks fake) well trained actors do. Keanu Reeve doesn't.
Best Sci Fi movies? Blade Runner, THX1138, and Sunshine are my suggestions. Hopefully Moon turns out good.AAllxxjjnn

I remember this night. You had a few to drink and went on a drunk and post drive. Sorry. I should have taken the laptop away from you. Matrix is okay. But we know there are some great sci-fi movies out there ... Alien/Aliens, Cube, Terminator, Eraserhead, Pi, Planet of the Apes(original) and THX 1138(nerd love)
The second two films weren't all that great. I thought they were good actions flicks, but that's about it. The first one was awesome though! It's even number 28 on IMDB's 250 greatest movies of all time list.
I have no idea how many times I've watched the film.
