Older movies have a certain charm about them, but I'm not hard to please with newer movies either.

One of my friends refuses to watch anything pre-2005ish because they're too old, and old movies are terrible.

Grey_Eyed_Elf

So he missed out on The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Memento, The Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, The Departed, Requiem for a Dream, Taxi Driver, Solaris, The Godfather ... these movies pretty much govern modern cinema. Please trip your friend up when he's holding his over priced Cola next time he's in a cinema.

Actually I think he saw Fight Club, didn't like it. As for the rest, yep he missed them.

I already threw an orange at him, but I'll try my best with the cola thing.

Hmmm... maybe a good thwack with a thick cotton sack filled with orange's soaked in cola would set him straight.

That sounds like it would be much easier to do than tripping :P

I'll get right on it,

I like mostly older movies but there are plenty of great films out now.

1990's had great movies. Terminator 2 The Matrix Braveheart The Crow Pulp Fiction Predator Lawnmower Man Demolition Man 2000's had some good movies too. 2010's... not so much. Especially comedies. They all pretty much are profanity laced moron films.
