This is usually the case for most of her performances. Her performance in Mulholland Drive is just remarkable.

I thought she was a bit bland in Eastern Promises though. Mostly because Viggo Mortesen, and Vincent Cassel upstaged her constantly.

I don't remember that film too much. I remember liking her, but I also remember being more impressed with Viggo Mortensen than anything else.

She hasn't impressed me much other than in Mulholland drive. I think there are other better actresses around like Samantha Morton, and Cate Blanchett.

Air Bud, Life is Beautiful, Grave of the Fireflies made me cry. Schindler's List and Hotel Rwanda didn't make me cry, but I had a lump in my throat in certain parts.

I forgot about a film I saw recently that made me tear up a bit.

The Remains of the day is a fantastic film. The bus scene in the rain near the end was such a heartbreaking scene. It had the potential to be cliche but Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins are so great in their roles that they make it special.

Not many have made me cry. Some have when I was younger though. The end of Planes, trains, and automobiles made me feel sad when they revealed why John Candy was always on the road. These are the few that have made me actually tear up though.

1. The Road
When Viggo dies at the end.
2. Watership down

3. Gallipoli

4. My dog skip

5. The Fly

Yeah the Road got me too. Great Movie

The very end of Saving Private Ryan, when it shows Private Ryan as an old man at the captain's grave in Arlington National Cemetery.

Are you for real or is that sarcasm? I suppose it made you cry for a different reason. That movie just made me depressed. Kinda like the book it was based on...

Before you read my list, please keep in mind that some of these movies I saw when I was a kid...

My list:

The Champ (1979)

Philadelphia

The Elephant Man

The Dark Crystal

possibly- Schindler's List and Fearless

very nearly- UP

The opening montage in Up very successfully plucked my heartstringsxaos
I didn't cry, however I did turn it off and come back to it later (I think it angered me more) I haven't cried at a film since I was a kid However here are a list of the films that have made me sad -Jack Frost (Why come back at all? It seems to tease the child rather than help) -The Road (Made me very depressed, excellent, but depressing)

The very end of Saving Private Ryan, when it shows Private Ryan as an old man at the captain's grave in Arlington National Cemetery.

This was very sad, Didn't cry, but didn't feel good.....Probably one of the my favourite movies (blu ray in April) I try to stay away from Movies that could make me sad for long periods of time, I suffer from Anxiety, It doesn't help me
