I think they should make a:
Wayans World 3
An actual Dumber and Dumber sequel not that crap they made a few years ago
Ghost Busters 3
Alien 5-they need to wrap that up the right way
Predator 3

not really a sequel, but a Lord of the Rings prequel (a.k.a. The Hobbit) should actually get made and not just continually rumored darkodonnie
It's confirmed. Guillermo Del Toro is directing; they start filming next year.

awesome :D...and that's an interesting choice, I liked Pan's Labyrinth. Do you know if there is any information on the cast yet?

Nothing solid yet, except Ian McKellen is supposed to return as Gandalf. Peter Jackson is executive producing and writing both films. (Both due in December 2011 and 2012.)

I would be REALLY pissed if it came out after December 21, 2012, and the whole end of the world mumbo-jumbo was true... :(

I can tell you personally, the only thing that will happen on that day is that people will be killing each other all because they believe in that end of the world crap.
I'd like a Saw sequel made by the creator of the original. Or a spin-off/ similar movie.SpidersRMe
After all of damage that's been done with the sequels as of late, it's probably just best that he's moved on. It'll be interesting to see what his next project will be.

Haven't watched Dead Silence, yet, but I wound up enjoying Death Sentence a lot.
Monster's Inc.CruxisXIII
Agreed, also Children of Men, just watched that movie it was mind blowing. Wish I had watched it in theatre would have been the best movie in my life.
No joke.
Star Wars the Clone Wars. I saw it and it left me with a lot of questions. Maybe they could be annwered in the animated series they had but i cant watch that cause i dont have cable.
The Star Wars movies always leave me with questions. It's one of those movies you really wish you could just go in and change one thing.
Yes i saw the new Star Wars early. It was pretty good, a lot of action.
i wouldn't mind another ghostbusters, todays computer technology will do that film justice. i also would like to see...
Independence Day 2
Colverfield 2
GoodFellas 2
Spawn 2
King of New York 2
Toy Story 3
Night of the Dead (remake)
Blues Brothers
King Kong- mighty joe young
Godzilla - Godzillas son, hehe
Bad Boys 3
Swat 2
Rocky7- Son becomes fighter with Rocky as trainer....
Menace 2 Society- East Coast verson
Popeye- (remake)
The Wiz 2- back 2 Oz
Grease 2- Lighting strikes twice
last but not least a collaboration movie with characters from both Star Trek and Star Wars...meh, that's it for now
Night of the Dead (remake)
If you're talking about Night of the Living Dead, they already did a remake, in the 90's.
Swat 2
Oh god no.

there was Dawn of the dead, Day of the dead and Night of the Dead...Night of the dead was the first one and was in black and white. they remade Dawn of the dead and made a Land of the dead but a Night of the dead. it should be the finale...ironic sense it was the beginning. u not like SWAT..lol i admit it could have been better.
I think they are making a second Cloverfield; it may just be rumors, but I think it'll tell a different story during the same time as the first movie.I agree about Alien 5 (Alien 3 was ok, and Res sucked) and Predator 3.
I think they need to come out with another Cloverfield. I really wanna know what happened.
Matt-4542
I also agree to an Alien 5 and Predator 3. Both movie franchises can do well with a new installment. I'd really like to see another Serenity movie, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Trick question. No sequels should ever be made. Seriously, what sequels are actual considered classic films? The Godfather, thats about it.-Austin-
Toy Story 2
The Road warrior
The Good, The Bad, and the ugly (Third part, but still)
The Dark Knight
Lot's of good movies.
Edit: Aliens
Ill think of more.

I'm almost 100% sure that Abrams said that a sequel is in the works, and yes, it's during the same time as the first one, but in a different area or somethingthere was Dawn of the dead, Day of the dead and Night of the Dead...Night of the dead was the first one and was in black and white. they remade Dawn of the dead and made a Land of the dead but a Night of the dead. it should be the finale...ironic sense it was the beginning. u not like SWAT..lol i admit it could have been better.

And SWAT was just really, really bad. I didn't even finish it, we all decided to play dirty-word Scrabble instead.

God Father II was much superior to the first one. And I agree with most of that on the list especially with Aliens and the Dark Knight.
