Movies you judge people by

We all have those movies that we enjoy so much that we wonder how someone who seriously gives it half a chance could possibly dislike it. Maybe they don't like it as much as us ok, but you gotta admit it is a good film. Sometimes it even goes to the point that we might question some one's taste in films, or even wonder if they have a soul when they say they didn't like a film.

This thread is where we list those films.

I'll list mine first (because I made the thread dang it!):

Let's face it if you don't like Gattaca you've got problems. Somewhere inside you something is wrong, possibly even dead. Don't deny it that won't help matters. If you don't think there is something wrong with you then that is just another symptom of your horrible affliction. Find help soon.*

From a guy, I'd say Godfather, but I'm leaning more towards saying this for a guy instead of a girl.

I loved Gattaca.

It's not a movie but I have a hard time accepting other scifi fans who say they don't like, or worse yet, hate, Battlestar Galactica. I mean really, what the hell?

On the opposite end of the spectrum, to me anyone who liked Inland Empire is a poser film snob.

If I do judge people based on movies it's based more on the ones they do like more than don't, but I can't think of anyone who really dislikes any of these.

To me, anyone that likes the firstHighlander is a type of scifi person that I can relate too. They usually like Blade Runner as well.

Anyone that likes Crash is just someone that buys into lopsided emotional manipulation.

Anyone that loves The English Patient isusually a movie snob.

Ocean's Eleven was an okay movie...

Come on, it's epic.

3:10 to Yuma, its a western and some people hate westerns, but its a really good movie.
