Requiem for a Dream: Really, really good movie. I'm not sure how else I can really describe it. I hated two of the main characters and still felt bad for them in the end. Oh and it's a bit depressing.

The Godfather Part II: Boring, plain and simple. Don't get me wrong, I loved all the parts with De Niro, but all the parts with Pacino just seemed to drag on and on and on. It's strange cause I really liked the first one.

Last two movie: Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Both movies were stunning, though I think I prefer the latter, for it's great cinematography and effective character development.

The Taking of Pelham 123: pretty good movie. I especially liked John Travolta's acting in this movie. He made me lol a good bit. Public Enemies: I liked Collateral, which was done by Michael Mann as well. This movie turned out to be good as well. The Sky Crawlers: Saw it for the 2nd time last night. Enjoyed it even more than the first time. Animation is top notch. The Ugly Truth: I didn't expect much out of this movie, but it turned out to be hilarious. Its pretty cool how Gerard Butler can go from an action movie like 300 to a romantic comedy.

Movies: Transformers 2. It was pretty bad. The only thing good about it was the action. At Home: Tropic Thunder. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

The Killing Room - very good psychological thriller about four strangers who become subjects of a brutal mind control government program. Watchmen - Pretty good, a bit boring on some parts. Half Blood Prince - Loved it.

I saw Burn After Reading yesterday on HBO and it was ok. Last two movies I saw in theaters were Harrpy Potter and Transformers. I enjoyed both of them but they both had room for improvement.

In theatres, Transformers 2. It sucked.

At home, Night Watch. It didn't.

Unfortunately I've seen a number of avoidable movies this summer. Bruno, Transformers 2, & Terminator Salvation come to mind first as the most recent thetre showings.

Ones like UP & I Love You Man were excellent. & for the 1st time I saw Pineapple Express & loved that as well!

In theaters was Angels and Demons. Much better than Harry Potter or Transformers. At home it was the Incredible Hulk on HBO.

[QUOTE="WeedleLad"]

This past week I've watched:

Gattaca- It was a really good movie, I heard about it here on Gamespot and decided to check it out. I loved it. :P

Watchmen- It was pretty good, I really got into it. The only thing I didn't like was near the end when my favorite character died...

I saw Gattaca for the first time last month, such an amazing movie.

Let the Right One In. 2008's best film it's been called, and I'm inclined to agree.

Its such an intense film, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole way. Russell Crowe gave an amazing performance. He should have received an Oscar for The Inisder, not Gladiator.

Harry Potter was the last movie I saw. It was great and it was one of the longest movies I've seen, but I didn't feel like it was as long as it was.
