Mumbai photojournalist gang-raped on assignment

A 22-year-old photojournalist has been gang-raped by five men in the Indian city of Mumbai, police say.

The woman, who was on assignment on Thursday evening in the Lower Parel area when she was attacked, is in hospital with multiple injuries.

She was accompanied by a male colleague who was beaten by her attackers. Police have arrested one of the suspects.

In a similar case last December, a 23-year-old student was gang-raped on a bus in the capital, Delhi.

My question here is the issue in India that there are way too many astronomically attractive women that men frequently go crazy and force themselves on those women, or is there just so FEW attractive women that when a guy spots a purdy girl he flips out and has to jump that.

In the US, women claim rape against their own husbands. Many cases of false accusations. Indian women would not report due to the fact that nobody would want to marry them. In india, women have ultrasound to determine the sex of the child - so they can have an abortion if its a female.
