At least explain whats the point of this. Ive taken multiple music appreciation classes and we never did such a thing.Thats not the topic at hand, I don't care about pink floyd or Iron maiden right now, the question is do you like the song.
Shmiity
In class, we're going through popular music decades. Were on the 2000's, and this song is one of the most overwhelmingly popular tunes.
We go through the music arrangements of the song, and do a brief thing about it, and move on.

enterawesome
Unfortunately not, its mainly pop.
The Beatles, some Led z, then a bunch of one hit wonder 80's, then on to radiohead and oasis, then the 2000's.
Eh, may not be Iron Maiden or Metallica, but the Beatles are pretty freaking awesome.Same here.I'm not a big fan of the Killers but I do enjoy that particular song and find it quite catchy.

Lonelynight
I actually stopped iistening to The Killers a long while back. Mr Brightside does have a catchy hook and decent lyrics to keep you addicted to listening to it frequently. However, the song(in fact every song from Hot Fuss) loses it's charm after subsequent listens.
