[QUOTE="inyourface_12"]how could anyone hate them?Dark_Knight6

Most people I know have never even heard them. Those that have say how good "No One Knows" is. Don't get me wrong, it's a great song but they have much, much better.

I gotta say, "No One Knows" is probably #2 or #3 on my QotSA song list, behind "Spiders And Vinegaroons" and potentially "Burn the Witch". Although, yeah, people should know much more than "No One Knows". Hell of a song though.

[QUOTE="XilePrincess"]pokemon theme songs. no, really. Guilty pleasure.

:P Nice choice. I didn't know there were many more theme songs than the original. :? I get odd looks when I listen to stuff like Gunther & the Sunshine Girls, and The Pipettes. :S I guess they call them guilty pleasures for a reason. XD

Pretty much all the music I listen to.darksword1123

Same. My friends don't venture too far beyond the stuff that comes on the radio. I've got a reputation for listening to stuff that none of them have heard of.

Creedence Clearwater Revival? Aren't they pretty much well liked and respected? You know: Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Born on the Bayou, etc. Great band though :)

When I listen to folk music or folk rock like Bob Dylan some of my friends dismiss it as country music and call me wierd. I hate that.

I love them, and they are popular. However, none of my friends really like them, even the ones who also like classic rock like me.

D'you Know What I Mean- We Are Rockstars It's that techno song used in the commercial of the new fast and furious movie. filiwian
It may help to know their name ;)

Name of the band is Does it Offend You, Yeah? and I am a huge fan.

Me? Sigur Ros, Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Holy F***, all of these get blank looks when I mention them.

I really like older rap. Early 90's NWA, Ice T, Ice Cube, Ghetto Boys, UGK. I listen to rap about half the time when I'm driving.

I have a friend who calls Radiohead "the most famous band that your average person has never heard a single song by."

I think that's a pretty accurate description.

Most of the msuic i listen to people i know dont know it and i dont ry and show them cause they jsut annoy me. Its not that i try to go for obscure stuff because its mroe that its jsut obscure in Australia or just with people i know, that and my favorite genre is ska which usually means people have no idea what type of music that actually is.

Bands: Streetlight Manifesto (missed them in concert and wanting them to come back to Australia) Big D and the kids table, Choking Victim, I voted for kodos, Mustard plug, suburban legends, The boucning souls, The aquabats, five iron frenzy.

I could go on but i'll leave it at that.

Forgive Durden. There play they made Razia's Shadow heres my favorite song in that CD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3Bs8mqiq-M

The reason i love Razias Shadow is they get very famous singers to sing parts like Shawn Harris in Doctor Doctor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zusc58Zy-1Y&feature=related

The guy in the first link Chris Conley is amazing and just a bunch of other people who make the CD great I would suggest lstening to the songs in order so you get the story heres the first song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blvpi4x5Kvk&feature=related

Your welcome for showing you the greatest CD ever made

Dark_Knight6

I agree, they are very underrated both underground and mainstream wise.

Portishead easily takes the cake for me though. They either get bashed by Radiohead fanboys (because they both are different genres but sound alike) or no one ever gives them a try. Its fine though, they have their fans.:)

"No One Knows" is so much fun to play on the drums, but from Songs for the Deaf, I think "A Song for the Dead" is way better. Dave Grohl kills on the drums in that song :P
