just to add on some stuff. TC, you're posting on a board that regularly has YLYL, "My Girlfriend" issues, Atheism vs Religion, and "Today someone ... to me" followed by "I ... someone today" threads. in short, we don't usually take ANYTHING here that seriously. add to that the fact that your post is full of spelling mistakes, which we see in fake posts and posts by ESL people. 

I'm not gonna ask you for proof of your post, your would be too heartless. But we live in a world where professional psychologist and psychiatrics are available for mental issues. Instead you decide to come here for support. I come here to laugh, see weird stories, debate useless issues, and get info on video games. regardless of whether people are being insensitive, you are in the wrong place for help

The people making fun of the TC should be ashamed of themselves. An infant's death is never funny. Ever. Giving someone a hard time for that is far below the standards for humanity. There's no excuse. Even if this happened to be a joke thread, I'm willing to give the TC the benefit of a doubt and take this thread seriously. Its never alright to just outright insult someone who's potentially lost their infant child...I can't believe how horrible some OT users are.

TC, I don't know what to say. I've never had a child, but if my little brother died I wouldn't know what to do with my life either.

Jeez, sometimes I hate the internet.  People are so insensitive.  My parents went through the same thing with their first child.  They lost their first little boy, but then ended up with my older sister and me.  The main thing is that you have a gf/wife/whatever that loves you and you love her, and that even though that child won't be there with the two of you to share its life and be a part of the family, that you can still move on and try again.  I hope everything goes well for you in the future, but remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.  If you were to off yourself, you'll never again have the opportunity to bring another being into the world and to make your family.

It's the internet, if they went around banning everyone who was insensitive then the internet would be a pretty barren place. D:  And think about the flood of fake threads we all experience on GS, you can't blame people for making snide remarks especially when the TC's post looked a lot like a troll (not saying he is a troll but just for comparison purposes).

I'm getting kind of worried. When he said he didn't see any reason to live, I didn't take that as an actual intention to commit suicide, but rather just an understandable and common sentiment uttered at one point or another by people who have gone through similar things.

But I'm starting to get worried that he hasn't posted anything else in this thread.

Has anyone else had any contact with him, or seen him post messages on another forum?

Oh yes, I can blame people for making snide remarks in this thread. Dead infants are never something to joke about, even if it was a joke thread (and I think the TC is telling the truth).

There's no excuse for that kind of behavior. Absolutely, positively no excuse.

Oh, I'm not jumping to any conclusions. I don't even think that the guy was actually making a suicide threat. He merely said something like, "I don't feel like I have any reason to live", and lots of people who have lost loved ones say the same thing. Doesn't mean that they're actually saying that they intend to do anything. It's just a natural thing to think in such a situation.

So no, I'm not jumping to any conclusions, and haven't even reported this thread (as I ALWAYS do when someone here makes suicide threats).  

Still, I would feel better if I saw this guy post again.

Not mocking the death of an infant doesn't mean he's on a high horse. It's basic human courtesy. Something which is severely lacking by a lot of losers in this thread.

Anyway, after reading past the comments and checking up on the TC's posting history, I'm not quite convinced that it's 100% true, but I think the chance of it being true is higher than the chance of it being false. And I say, TC, if this is true, then I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope you'll get past it and realize it's not the end of the world. It's a past event now, and when you're done mourning, try and move on to the rest of your life, and don't live in emotional agony over a mistake you cannot correct.

Also @ the grammar guys: The guy's Danish, give him a break. English is not his main language - couple that with the (possible) distress of losing a child and it's not likely he'll make a comprehensible post, or even bother to try.

This thread should just end. Now people are just bashing the "insensitive pricks" moreso than actually helping the person that allegedly lost a child.

You can't blame some people for thinking this may have been a fake thread, we've seen plenty of those here, but of course some people may have been less brutal about their post none-the-less; I had my suspicions at first I admit.

My girlfriend was pregnant and the baby was 7months old. I just got home yesterday from the hospital. The baby was born 2 months earlier. The baby didn't get air to its brain. My whole life is ruined! Why me!? Can anyone tell me!?
