well, that is actually a good idea. Do something that makes the dog think whenever she bites you, something bad will happen. If you condition her to think that, she will stop eventually.

I don't think you'd want to physically hurt the dog in any way though, as that could lead to it always being afraid of you. So just a spray bottle would get it to understand.[QUOTE="skullkrusher13"]good call[QUOTE="M-e-t-h-o-d-206"][QUOTE="disc0very"]Spray bottle whenever she does it? disc0very

that's horrible!.. but it works :PÂ
Maybe he is trying to warn you that you have cancer
If that isn't the case, then grab him by his lips and make him look you in the eye and say NO in a stern voice whenever he does it. Unless he's really agressive, then he'll bite your faceÂ

Bite it's ankles?metallica_fan42That's what I do. If my dog bites me I bite him back. No joke...Then before you know it we are both wrestling on the ground biting each other and duking it out. :|

Taegukki is right, most bitter solutions (dog friendly) work. You have to be careful not to give too much attention when you're dog is being bad. That's one reason why a lot of dogs turn bad. They get yelled at, or spoken to when they are bad so they notice that it's some way to get your attention.Â
You may want to go to the library and also find books that have solutions on bad dog behavior. My mom used to go to a lot of obedience training courses with a variety of the dogs I had growing up. Obedience training courses help with puppies to grow into good habits but a 1 year old is still pretty much considered a puppy. I recall the days as a little girl being chased by Labrador or Welsh Corgi puppies (3 months and up) biting at my heels. I was taught as a little girl not to pet the puppies when they did that.
