To an extent yes, to an extent no as it can be a little too much crazy. And besides I think she is bluffing and he should just dump her in the middle of a large group as she obviously wont be able to claim her so called "murder" there if she was to go ahead with it.
The more crazy they are the more intresting they are. I'm not much of fan of peopl who arn't atleast a bit crazy, they're pretty boring IMO.

Anyway back on topic I think that every person should be at least a little crazy for they arent much fun as well. :P
No offense or anything, but your friend is kinda dumb for dating this chick if this is true. She goes to his house with a knife to her neck and threatens to kill herself if he doesn't go out with her, and he says, "Ok, I'll go out with you." WTF? Not to mention he believed her that he would go to jail for murder? He should've just slammed the door in her face and called the cops. If she did do it, the blood spray would be all over the door and not on him. Not to mention the knife: fingerprints don't lie, and as long as his weren't on it he had nothing to worry about.
My theory? He's really desperate for some action, and this is probably the only chick with an interest in him, so he goes out with her. Then he makes up a story about how she threatened to kill herself if he didn't so he won't look bad in front of his friends for dating a crazy chick.
