Dear Smith,

I am Barrister William Ruth, Solicitor. I am the Personal attorney to ENGR.Thomas Smith, a national of United State of America, who used to work with Esmas construction company in Nigeria as the chief Engineer. On the 2nd of may 1999, my client ,his wife And their three children were involved in a car accident along Sagbama Express Road
All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives. Since then I have made several enquiries to their embassy to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful.

After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to trace his relatives over the Internet, to locate any member of his family but of no avail, hence I contacted you to assist in repatriating the money that belong to my client before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank where this huge deposits were lodged.
Particularly, the Bank where the late decease had an account valued at about 20 million dollars has issued me a notice today to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated within the next ten official working days

I doubt its real....but this got sent to his mom.......what do you guys think?

Um yeah, that's definitely not real. You probably have to end up paying like $50,000 just to claim the other money.

I get these emails ALL the time and I always read them for kicks (they usually have funny names and misspellings in them.) I always end up thinking the same thing "How do these scammers actually make money? Where would they find ANYONE stupid enough to fall for this???"

Well, my questions have finally been answered.

Hahaha. The "other money" doesn't exst.

Paying 50,000 dollars would get you one thing: A bank account that's 50,000 bucks lighter.

Honestly, gullible is one thing but this.....

There is no "probably", it's a scam. I get one of these every single day in my email...if I were to go in my "Blocked Senders" list, there's about 100 different email addresses.
