You seem young so here's a life lesson... fat girls give the best head.

Especially if you tell her it's twinky flavored....

Lock the sweets away and only give her water and low-carb bread. Simples!

Okay, your solution is not to get her to lose weight. Not now.

Your solution is to find out what is wrong with her mentally. That amount of weight gain is HIGHLY unusual in a few months. Going to a gym will not help at this time. She will just either gain it back or not see any results. Talk to her. Talk to her parents about seeing a doctor. She may have an emotional/binge eating problem.

This is why guys get puzzled when girls get angry about them and their weight. There's obviously a bigger problem that you are ignoring and she is in denial of. Guys focus on the physical body because it is visible to you but not any mental cues.

Get in really good shape. Like ripped. Always talk about the gym and being healthy.

It's a perfect way to insult the hell out of her in the most passive-aggressive way possible.

Don't stop until your body fat percentage is below 10?

Encourage her to count her calories and adopt a healthier lifestyle OP. She's 5'4 and still within the healthy range to turn it around before it becomes increasingly difficult and time consuming.

@tij33: I remember in highschool I had a girlfriend who rowed. I hated rowing. I also hated most of the rowers who were snobby elitists who came from a private school. Obviously I made her quit rowing. After a few months no longer training I began to notice like you she was getting fat.

One night I decided to face the elephant in the room.

I said, "You're not as athletic as you used to be."

Crying ensued followed by "You think I'm fat."

Needless to say yeah she was right & she felt the same. Thanks to my helpful suggestions she became unfat.

damn...well, I prefer chubbier chicks, so 5'4 and 150 is 100% ok with me. But yeah, the trend is worrying. Chubby chicks are the best, so cute and cuddly...fat chicks not so much. Though, I know some guys love fat chicks too. Better talk to her and find out the issues.

I think we call that "thicc", like when a girl is husky but not fat/obese. Still objectively atractive and physically healthy, just built to carry a bit more than the social standard, and a lot more than the sickening Hollywood standard (and that's fine).

I find thicc women with nice curves much more appealing than skinny-fat girls who might be able to wear elegant dresses, but have terrible health and cottage cheese thighs, unnatural sagging, and so forth. The latter's BMI might be OK, but they're just skin, bones, and fat. No muscle.

But honestly, as long as a women is healthy and genuinely happy with her body image--not these "Fat and beautiful/proud" people that are in denial-- I am not judging.

Surprised (but not really) no one has mentioned you should try to get into dancing with her.

If she was passionate enough to "do" dance in some organized manner at high school, then you should encourage her to get back into it either via teaching, coaching, or joining a group. If she is decent she can monetize that, which will be great for her (and maybe you).

Also, as mentioned, discern from her what's behind her diet. Weight loss/gain is roughly 90% diet-influenced.
