Just need to know how strong a case I have for vandalism, if I can prove that he's the one that did it.
Basically, I went to go see one of my girlfriend's yesterday at her apartment. She told me that her Dad was over and I might run into him if I get there at a certain time, so I made sure to show up 15 minutes late. Regardless, he was still leaving just as I got there. We didn't say anything, didn't make eye contact, nothing. Mainly because I have been having problems with this guy because he has a crappy attitude.
Anyway, we hung out at her apartment, she made me dinner, I ****ed her, hung out a little longer, and eventually I went back to my car so I could return home as would inevitably happen.
Well, I didn't notice until this morning, but there is now a "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" bumper sticker on my car. He is an avid right winger who is an ex veteran and doesn't like me because he knows that I don't support the troops and have a lot of pacifistic beliefs, and even met his daughter while doing a peaceful protest of the current war.
This is a pain in the ass. I'm going to have to scrape this thing off with a razor blade, because it won't peel off. I had to buy a blank bumper sticker and write "I DO NOT" just to paste in front of the sticker he put there so I could drive around without people thinking I'm an idiot. For one, buying that modification sticker cost me money, and now it's going to cost me labor to get both stickers off. To make matters worse, I might wind up scratching the paint on my car while I do this.
Anyway, is there any way I can sue him for vandalizing my car? He put something on it that I did not want, and I'm thinking maybe I can get his fingerprints on it.
