My High School Made Me Proud

In the town that I grew up in, there are two high schools. This weekend those two schools played each other in football for the first time ever. As I'm sure you can imagine, this created a bit of a rival atmosphere. A couple of students from Hilliard Davidson (my alma matta) pulled an awesome prank on Hilliard Darby (the rivals).

I am a little upset though because I found out that the students got three days suspension for pulling the prank off. Personally, I think that is way to severe and I don't think they should have been punished at all. It was clean, clever, and most importantly nobody got hurt.

the senior class that graduated 2 years before us planted a dogwood tree in the middle of the football field, right before the last game of the season. The dogwood is the state tree, and it can't be cut down, so for a few days there was a random tree in the middle of the football field.
