[QUOTE="UnrighteousFury"][QUOTE="nimatoad2000"]why cant people understand, this is as close as we'll ever get to the antichrist, because their is no such thing, nor is their a devil, god or heaven. its all just fairy tales.I_Am_Sexy
Why can't people understand that you're never going to convince someone that there is no God over an internet forum?
I don't think he was trying to convince anyone, he's just speaking his mind LOL
Of course. He's just belittling something that people base their entire lives around just for the fun of it then?
I'm not incredibly religious, and I don't have a problem with people who reject it completely, but if you're going to do so, be courteous, at least.

I've been meaning to ask for the longest time. What exactly is your sig trying to show? I don't get it.

People thought the exact same about Bush.
And Bush never fit the description, so to compare him to the anti-christ is just silly.
Bush meets more descriptions than Obama, actually.
Seriously, dispensationalist paranoia ftl. The idea of an antichrist appearing in present times didn't even show up until the 19th century.
*headdesk*
No, no he doesn't. And I do not like Bush at all. He gives true conservatives a bad name.

Yes, yes he does. Did you watch the video? It's real.
Bush isn't the antichrist, now is he?
Seriously, after four years, people won't say a thing about Obama and start worrying that Hillary is the Antichrist.

who cares about the description, it came from a fairy tale
It doesn't matter. The man wants to take away our rights, tax us to death, and whatever else him and the sneaky liberal congress have in the works. Welcome to a government without filibusters.

hypocrisy FTL
I don' t think he was belittling anyway, just telling it like it is. if you want people to be accepting of others religious beliefs then why can't you also be accepting of people who are disturbed by religion LOL goes both ways. but christains always get the special treatment for some reason
Ill lol when the anti Christ comes, I'll be like "dude you're about 2000 years late".
I am not even going to call him the anti christ and i hate him more than any other person in government (why? because he is actually going to do something that i don't agree with..)

Well, you're doing the same thing.
Nope, I explained on page 3 why I wouldn't vote for Obama. He's voted to raise taxes on individuals making $42,000+/year time and time again. He's voted for strict gun laws, even the ban of handguns. I vote on record, not rhetoric. I'm not even a hunter or anything, but I believe in our founding fathers and the constitution, thus we should forever have the right to bear arms.

Why'd I even ask? Saying Obama fits the description in any aspect is completely idiotic. Unless he fit it to a tee, assuming one believed in the bible, you'd have absolutely nothing to worry about.Obama. Yup, that's it.

Ha. That's funny you mention that because Obama supports wiretapping as does McCain. I don't know where this "Republicans support torture" idea came from, especially considering that the justification of torture comes from liberal ideas, and McCain says he doesn't support torture.

A simple response to the question of Obama being the anti-christ by an atheist and/or agnostic: No, because there is no anti-christ, just like there is no God.
Difficult? No.
And yeah, I think that someone getting their beliefs from a Dr. Seuss book is pretty ridiculous, but I'd have the decency to respect them enough not insult them or their beliefs.

I don't understand why she would make such assumptions when she barely even knows anything about him. If she only goes with what other people say without even knowing reason, then she's just going with the sheep, no other reason.
no it's the right one. that's why republicans support torture
I_Am_Sexy
That's how you attack my point? I couldn't tell if you were being serious. The concept of using torture as a means of counter-terrorism arose from the liberal Jeremy Bentham.

I personally think he will be elected, but will be shot soon after.Devoo55You need to inform your mother, who I assume is Christian, that if he were in fact the antichrist she should WANT him to be elected, that would mean the whole rapture deal is going to happen sooner. But he isn't the Antichrist, she is missing a few important details, the antichrist is blamphemous and Obama has clearly stated his religious beliefs, which are christian...
Like I tell everyone that makes the Obama is the antichrist statement " If he is the antichrist then there isn't much you can do about it. He will get into power no matter what you want. True Christians are suppossed to know and see through it."Correyov31So either way, Obama is sure to win.
