My only gripe with The Walking Dead is that every episode after the pilot was crap. :Praven_squadI enjoyed the first four episodes, but the last two were crap. Maybe I feel that way because I made the comic book series first.
First episode was wicked and had me asking a lot of questions, then by the third episode I said screw it and stopped watching. It was like Dexter, it was good up until season 5 when that blonde chick came into the picture. Didn't you learn from Miguel, Dexter?!

I watched the first season. The quality of the episodes were really incosistent. It started off good then turned into a soap opera for awhile.
i watched that show just to see the pizza delivery guy use the dodge challenger to wreck some zombies, and they used it for like 5 seconds!

Skimming through this thread does not encourage me to watch the show and I find that unfortunate.Hexagon_777
You wanna watch the show, watch the show. Who cares what anyone else thinks...?
I just don't care for the characters much. The main guy is Mr. Dudley Do-Right, putting himself in great danger while his wife and child look on in horror. What a self-centered a$$. I really liked the idea of a "realistic" portrayal of a zombie apocalypse, but the whole thing is like MTV's The Real World with some disparate personality types fighting with each other constantly.
It's still worth watching though, just not nearly as good as it could have been.

I liked the first season apart from the final and will be watching the second season. The first season was inconsistent with quality however I have high hopes for the second season.
It will never be as good as the comic though.

The first season was a hell of a lot better than what I thought it would be, I was expecting a piss poor budget and bad acting but it's got me as hooked as 24 and Prison Break.
Aww man, his character is going to change so much you might make the Dudley Do-Right personality.I just don't care for the characters much.
