My parents seem suspecious....

My parents seem suspicious about me wanting to be in my room alone. Ever since I got a computer in my room, I've always been afraid of them going in to check it for porn. Before I go in, I normally ask people not to disturb me, and then my parents usually ask "why?" with a weird face, and my mom was wondering why I wanted headphones. Well, here's the twist: I'm not looking at porn! I have OCD, which in this case means that i don't want to expect things. I don't want to always expect my dad going in my room to look at my computer, even though the actual occurrence would be fine, I just don't like to expect it. The same thing goes for being disturbed. When I'm eating in my room (and watching funny stuff on youtube, homestarrunner, etc.) I just want to be alone and undisturbed. So, the problem here is that if I say that I'm not doing anything or hint at it, then they might get suspicious, because I would be the one bringing it up. If I don't say anything, they will probably always think that I'm in my room masturbating or something. Anyone have anything encouraging or helpful to say? Advice? Anyone?

That doesn't work I'm afraid. It just means that when you do actually need to close the door, it's pretty obvious to everyone outside that something else is happening in there other than you watching cartoons...

I know what you mean. My parents always have to make sure they know what I'm doing on the internet. They seem to think it gives them some sort of power. Oh well, one more school year then I'm off to college!

Why not just tell your parents straight up your not watching porn, but that you just don't want to be bothered by them? I mean, if your really not watching it, then there shouldn't be any problem...right?

Oh yeah. If you really have nothing to hide, just let your parents look through your computer. When they don't come up with anything they should leave you alone.

It's the only way tey won't get off your back. This also shows some trust issues, obviously your parents don't trust you so you need to talk to them about that too.

Then they'd wonder why i brought it up, and think that I might just be trying to convince them I don't when I actually do.....which would be false. Then I'd be expecting them to come in all the time, which I can't stand. I can't relax if I'm expecting anything to happen, no matter what it is. I'm stuck!

I've been told that......but that's what OCD is. The locked door is a good example. Say you need to lock a car door, and you walk off and then wonder if you really did lock the door. Even if you think you remember locking it, you can never be 100% sure, so you reason "well, it'd be better to go back and check to make sure, than having someone steel from the car." That's how it is with me. I mean, not thinking enough about the consequences often leads people to bad decisions, like drugs.

Well bring it up with them then. You obviously need to talk to them about it if it annoys you so much.
