It isn't 100% fact. It is theory. But it should be taught in schools. That's part of what Science is. It has every right to be in schools, and is one of the most supported and backed scientific theories to our creation. It has more physical evidence than practically every other theory. It has proven itself valid.

If you don't accept the bible as the absolute truth (which theistic evolution requires) then you might as well be rejecting the whole faith.Evolution in any form destabilises the authority of the church which can destabilise some peoples whole way of life, so it's understandible that they don't want to see what is right in front of them.

Not completely, but evidence shows evolution as a possibility-and a great one at that. Go look up the evidence. You'll see what I'm talking about. None of it has anything to do with bashing religion if you skip past Youtube and College essays posted online. Just go look up the evidence. There's plenty there that shows evolution as a large possibility.

Well, since the preacher is going off of a thousands-year-old myth, while the zoologist is going off of years of meticulous study and research as well as experimental and physical evidence, all of which is verifiable, then I say yes, the preacher is much less credible.
