Couldn't jay-z just know about it have done research on illuminati and free masons and intentinoaly put their symbols in his songs and videos so people belive he is to generate buzz about him and just give him free advertising. Like all those youtube videos with over a million views, people who don't even listen to his music probley watches it hence giving him free advertising.
That might be understandable if he was an upcoming artist using a gommick like that for attention, but Jay-Z is a household name so it would make no sense for him to go through all that trouble of purposely putting out subliminal messages at this point in his career to generate a buzz and get free advertising.
Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction or conspiracy. He may be riding off the publicity and laughing at it by wearing crazy sweatshirts like the one in the pic for example but very few artists in the music biz shine in the mainstream off of pure talent nowadays.
The belief is the illuminati only select populer or influential figures to spread there symbols. Jay-Z has been using the pyramid as his roc synbol since his reasonable doubt album in 1996, way before he had any fame. In fact the name jay is short for jehova which means god. That's why he calls himself hova for his nickname
Hmmm.. clever marketing for the gullible, or sign of a trans-national multi-century conspiracy... HMMMMMMMMMmmmmmMMmmmm... :P
