My Uncle Was Shot in the Mumbai Attacks...

In case some of you didn't know me yet my family is from India, I live in Canada and was born and raised here but I still have a lot of family back in India spread all throughout the country. Most of my family is in the north eastern part of India which is far from Mumbai but I have some family in the south in Bombay.

Long story short my uncle was shot in the mumbai attacks, he's not going to die but he's in the hospital expected to make a recovery. This stuff has hit way to close to home for me...I hope these bastards pay for what they have done to my country

yes I know that and in addition I think that one should not depend on the enemies to not do or do somethings. Instead one should not be lenient. some things can always be handled with strict law enforcement once the problem is identified. US, UK and Israel are good examples. 

India instead is too lenient. It was lenient in past, ppl kept attacking India in past and again it is same in present.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope that this doesn't worsen Indian/Pakistan relations. I hope your uncle makes a fast and full recovery. I also hope they kill most of the attackers and then capture at least some of the attackers and make an example of them. I'm against the death penatly except in the case of crimes against humanity which this is.

It may not be Pakistan. India does have a significant number of muslims living in the country and there have been clashes between some of their radical members and the Indian government in the past. I suspect it was one of those groups responsible for this attack on innocent life.sonicare

yup, they were pakistanis. they snuck in.....

only created after partition but there are also many in Pakistan that are islamic and hate India for being a multicultural country. It's a split country.

most pakistanis themselves are very nice people.

No, but just because a tradegy happened doesn't mean we can't go on with our lives and joke around, I am sorry it happened, the whole thing, not just with your uncle. I was listening to the radio about this whole thing and some people think of it as India's equivelent to 9/11, I knew people who died in 9/11...I still joked around when that happened, you have to go on with life, sure these things are terrible and upsetting, but whatever, you still won't care about my explanation.
