I never believe the myths. Only the one that is true: Most women have absolutely no idea what they have between their legs. Now that is not a myth, amirite?
I had no understanding of erections until I was probably 12, and heard about it in sex ed. Still didn't really get it til I got into highschool. I still don't understand how one puts a condom on an uncut penis either. I've never had sex with somebody who isn't cut, so I don't know. I've read the package (hurr hurr puns)directions and seen drawn diagrams on it, but I still don't really get where it goes if the skin is supposed to roll back over the condom...
EDIT: I also realize neither of these things are myths. Nobody talked about these things at my house, so I had nothing to 'myth' off of, I just had no idea boners happened.

far from it, it was mostly just that most people are circumcised in the US. i mean i knew that uncircumcised penises were a thing, i just never knew what they looked like, till i went to Europe that is

Many are, I'm Canadian though, but same difference. I've only been with one person, so that sentence is kind of misleading. But still, that one person is cut, so I've had no condom experience with anyone else. And bananas don't have foreskin, so they just confuse us poor 12 year old girls more in sex ed. Usually you'd put a condom on a normal penis the same way you'd put a condom on a circumcised penis The condom just stops the foreskin from gliding back over the gland.
