To me it's much more common on the hand, I don't think I've ever had any twitching on my eyelids

That sucks. Does this condition make it more difficult for things that require a steady hand, like drawing for instance?

Not really. When I'm drawing or painting I'm too concentrated and the twitching is very rare.

It's a whole other story when I'm in the computer, though

Yeah, when I was in university, there were very few females in engineering and science...but the few that were in the program usually scored better than me on exams.
