[QUOTE="22Toothpicks"]Sorry, but anyone saying that Oakland is one of the 4 worst teams in football is a complete moron. I'm a Raiders fan and I think they are middle of the pack 15 to 20 in rankings. Loosing Aso and Miller doesn't all-of-a-sudden drop this team to the bottom of the barrel. Aso is a bad loss but Miller leaving is made to big a deal of. The guy had good numbers because the Raiders WRs were mostly rooks and JC had his first year in yet another system. With more experience for the WRs and Campbell getting more and more comfortable in they system the TE position will no longer be the focus in their vertical attack. Not to mention they have a nasty D-line and speed at almost every position on the field. Prediction for this season: Raiders win 9 or 10 games and make the playoffs as west champs in a weak division. Last year, they went 8-8. All of their wins were against the crappy afc west and nfc west (2 worst divisions in the nfl last year). Not only do they have a harder schedule, but they got significantly worse then they were last year. Also the chiefs improved their team and there is little chance that the chargers have as many injuries as last season.
To think the raiders will do any better then they did last year, yet alone make the playoffs, is an absolute joke.
How? Explain to me how loosing two players equates to them being "significantly worse"? I think that statement is a joke. Two players=whole team? Durr. And them having a tough schedule is a moot point within their division; every team in the AFC west has virtually the same schedule.[QUOTE="OwldolphHootler"][QUOTE="22Toothpicks"]Sorry, but anyone saying that Oakland is one of the 4 worst teams in football is a complete moron. Redskins
Panthers
Bills
Broncos? Not sure.
I'm going to laugh at everyone bashing the Vikings when they make the playoffs and McNabb has a huge season. People overreact to the bad season he had last year in Washington. He was playing for the Redskins people.. They were horrible. They had 1 decent WR and a 2nd or 3rd string RB most of the season. They can't protect a QB worth a crap. Have we forgotten that this guy was a Pro Bowler in 2009? Now Donovan has a running game, a couple of good TE's, and a couple of speedy receivers. They'll do damage this year, even in a tough division.
Bad teams lose. A close loss is still a loss, if they were decent they would have won those games. The Lions lost 6 games last year by less than a touchdown. No where near the worst team.

Being screwed over in game 1 via a very very controversial call (to say the least) is one thing out of their control. Stafford also played for only one full game, with Jahvid Best having turf toes on BOTH feet. Sure, a few of those games were simply the Lions being unable to finish out games, but the core of the group is still young. The Lions lost 6 games last year by less than a touchdown. How people in this thread can have a list without the bills on it really makes me curious as to what they see in the bills that I don't.ice144The Bills are better than alot of people give them credit for.
My Browns would probably make most lists. Grrrrr. Go Peyton Hillis!
Browns.. really.. WHY? I grew up near them. I can't help it. Sure, I'd love to bandwagon on some good team, but I just can't.My Browns would probably make most lists. Grrrrr. Go Peyton Hillis!
