I don't comprehend this comment. From what I've seen, there are no gay sex scenes in the show, though I've only seen a few episodes.
I also don't know of any mentally retarded people being fans of the show, but I'm sure it's entirely plausible. I think it's amusing how someone says that this show is the best anime ever, but doesn't give any explaination on why. It' doesn't make for a convincing arguement.

I like Naruto, it's probably in my top 15 at least, but it's not the greatest anime of all time in my opinion, shame later on it's just filler episodes and that it appear on the evil kids tv network in U.S all mess up with horrible english dubbing.

I say it is fun to watch, but the story has over 100 fillers, they should just keep to the story with... the organization that wants Naruto, not lets make diet romen. Some better anime includes in order, Death Note, Blood Plus, Bleach, FMA, or even Betterman if you can find it.
The manga is ok at best, but they really have to stop focusing on Sasuke the whole time. The anime, however, is just abysmal (especially after the retrieval arc) and is even slower than DBZ.
i quite got what makes Naruto so popular. In the UK its seemed to of passed by without anyone I know taking much notice. Maybe because its only available to SKY customers and not everyone has digital tv like the states.
In my opinon Neon Genesis Evanglion was and still is the best anime series ever created. It only runs for about 25 episodes but thats good, as you dont have to trawl through 700 episodes if you want to watch it from start to finish. The narative woven by its creators is intriging and complelling, also very heavy (if you've watched it then you know what I mean). Art wise, it shows its age but still can stand up to modern anime. The English voice dub however is down right terrible.

I like the manga because its more story driven and about the characters than it is about fighting. The anime is decent and the american dubs are super cheesey.
If the episodes weren't so stretched out and there were no fillers I would consider watching it again, but untill that happens no its not. I'll stick with the manga.
just watched the first 2 episodes to check if it was worth watching, but didnt think it was nothing special, so i didnt continue watching. i usually watch anime, but in general i dont find shonen entertaining, except maybe Bleach or Fullmetal Alchemist. Usually i rather other kinds of anime.
