Naruto vs My Little Pony. Which show is better?

I bet 90% of the ppl here hating on naruto are white(usually are asia-phobic) or never watched it for real.

There is nothing that "terrible" about the show.

I have never watch MLP though,so I have to say Naruto is better.

I used to watch Naruto, I know that to me it's a boring anime that is drawn out with filler(not as bad as Bleach or DBZ) but yeah. It just comes down to the fact that some people like certain things and that's just the way life is.

As far as I know, Sasuke is not in My Little Pony. MLP wins.

I love both.

I love the messages and moral values in Naruto. Naruto is about teaching the younger generation that they can change the world and break away from old traditions. I love that. I don't watch MLP for the morals, though.

Because they find it actually entertaining?

And 2 things:

1- MLP isn't FOR little girls. Just because a show is DIRECTED towards a certain demographic, doesn't mean it's made FOR them.

In fact, that was of Lauren Faust's(creator of MLP) biggest fears, She did NOT wanted to make a completely mindless, stupid little girls show, she wanted to make a show for everyone.

2-Naruto is a Shonen, therefore, directed towards teenagers, but it has plenty of adult themes and situations(although admitelly, it doesn't handle them very well, and most of the time,it completely dumbs them down)

You know, I would respect your negative view if you've watched the show and decided for yourself that it's bad and that you can't understand why anyone besides children would watch it. That is understandable.

While that IS true(it's the truth for anything that gets unreasonable hate), there are a lot of bad things about it, and it's easy to see why people would dislike it

You know, it's fine for people to hate the MLP: FiM because of quality/technical reasons. That's fine. The show is definitely not for everyone. I also like how some of those who vote for Naruto specifically say that they haven't and never will watch MLP. Talk about a perfectly acceptable and legit opinion... Sure, if you don't want to watch it that's fine, or to have seen both and prefer one over the other, but to go out of you way to say it's terrible and this and that is better when you haven't even seen it is just being ludicrous.

If somebody honestly doesn't want to watch it, and does want to watch Naruto, that's fine. I just don't think it's an opinion you can take into account when someone says one is better than the other when they haven't really seen the opposition they're talking about. I for one have never seen Naruto, thus have not stated that MLP is better as I know my opinion would be invalid.

If someone didn't watch it simply because it's girly, that does seem a little overly-protective on the behalf of there maturity. If they don't want to watch it simply because it doesn't look like something they would enjoy, while I'd encourage them to at least give it a chance, it they honestly don't want to watch they're not going to gain much enjoyment out of being forced too.

mlp.. naruto has poisoned us with several bad video games and a manga i would sooner wipe my rear end with than read.
