need help ,major girl problem

so i've been talking to this girl on aim a lot lately. i kind of expressed that i liked her by saying she's cute and all, i'm pretty sure she knows it by now. I got her number and i asked her to go to the movies but she said shes busy, maybe next weekend. i was kind of testing her to see if she likes me too by saying things like "oo i dont want to bother you ill just leave you alone"(during right times of course, not just randomly popping that statement out) and she said nooo. i tell her that shes cute and sexy but my friend thinks shes not interested because if she liked me she would compliment me a lot also. She did compliment me but like only once or twice. my question is, should i just stop talking to her because my friend is right or should i keep talking and see where this will head?

oh and she seems kind of sketchy if you know what i mean.

no but i know where you are coming from. most stories i read on these boards seem just too fake to believe. i'm telling a true story and i hope it doesn't seem like i'm messing around. if you want i'll give more details.

OK if your certain she doesnt like you (not like that I mean) one more friend cant hurt but do as i did some might call it insensible but come on if you really want to know the status then simply ask her if she likes you and does she want anything to happen, and Im not jumping ahead of things (she may be the tipe that thinks if she rejects you then yuo will be scared for life or something like that) or plain shy!! And Im not an expert but can save you time or just you wont be going on a wild goose chase!8)Silicel1

yeah i was going to do that but my friend told me its too early since we have been talking talking for only like a week.i'm not scared of rejection i could care less because im not popular at school or anything
