My g/f live's with her friend and that friend has let her new b/f move in with them.(she has only know this person for 2 days before letting him move in)

This person does not work or help pay the rent and eat's all the food only to let my g/f pay for it,

Its not that easy to say stop paying for food as she has a 2yr old kid and he eats all the kid's food not careing if the kid has no food.

Her lease says that he can only he there for 2 weeks out of the yer but the person has now been there for over 10 weeks.

She has asked him to get out but he said no she all so called the cops but they cant do anything.

We went to the landlord and there not going to do anything to kick him out or get him on the lease so that he starts paying rent.

It got the the point that he like my g/f room better then his g/f so when she was at work he moved all of her stuff in to there old room.

We ended up getting the old room back but we had to put a lock on the door.

I have been looking at the landlord and tenant act to see if i can find anything but no luck so far

If any one has any info it would help.

PS we are in canada dont know if that matters.

Why not have your girlfriend move in with you? Or, you could do everyone a favor and break up with her, then get some grammar classes.

That's stupid. The police do their job quite well, it's just people that want them to do things they can't that aren't happy with their services.

If he has taken your property as you said to move it around, and you have reason to believe further misdemeanours and proof of past incidents you may be able to take out a restraining order against him.

Also if the lease is in yours or your partners name you have legal causeway to have him ejected from the house.

seriously, man, this is bullsquat. There is definately at least one law being broken.

What about the two-week limit? Why does that exist? And cant you use that against your girlfriend's roommate's boyfriend (lets call him "Jerk" from this point forward)?

Sounds like this Jerk is just a total jerk. And what about your girlfriend's roommate? Cant she say anything to him?

Something has to be done.

Have you ever noticed that the only major complaints come from poor people or minorities? As if the rich and whites are the only ones to get fair treatment.

Brute force
Drag him out, throw his stuff out

End of story, but there are laws being broken so the police have to be able to do something.

Charge him with theft. If he is eating your food, that is stealing. Keep your receipts, catalog what he eats, and get pictures of him in the act.

Also, is your girlfriend on the lease. If she is not, then you might be screwed.

Well, I don't know the laws of Canada, but I DO know the lease laws in the US. If your lease is for your GF and her roomate, and if she has a boyfriend staying there for "an excessive amount of time as disclosed in the lease," then legally, this person is in violation of the law. If you were in Texas, you literally have the right to point a gun at his head and pull the trigger. But that is a bit different. In the rest of the states, he is trespassing in your home and should be arrested.

But again, this is US laws. Maybe the Royal Canadian Mounties do it a bit differently (like ask real nice for him to leave)

wait until he leaves then lock the door. Apply for a restraining order, and that is that. He cant come in by choice or by law.

Have a sit down with all 4 of you. Tell them that you're sick of his **** and that if he doesn't smarten up soon you'll make him leave by force. Use examples like theft for eating his food, mischeif for moving around your stuff, trespassing for violating that 2 day thing. etc

If all else fails just knock him the **** out.

1. find a new apartment

2. talk to your girlfriends roomate

3. change locks

4. beat the living s*** out of him if a bat sounded good

5. hiring a hitman would be a good last resort

People have suggested all of these and i advice you to try all of those number one was my idea :)

Put a lock on the fridge, or get her another smaller fridge to keep in her locked room to keep the food for the kid.

Usually I wouldn't care, but eating a 2 year old's food? Guy needs to be punched in the face repeatedly.

The roommate wants him to be there and says that he does not need to pay rent as its not his plase.

My g/f has moved in with me as she cant take staying with them any more but she is still paying rent.

We need to find a way to kick him out or get him on the lease so he starts paying rent if he wants to be there.

The point of this all is to get him out as he is an ass and does onthing to help.

My g/f has moved in with me as she cant take staying with them any more but she is still paying rent.

We need to find a way to kick him out or get him on the lease so he starts paying rent if he wants to be there.

Your girlfriend needs to talk to her roommate about the situation and if it cant be resolved she needs to stop paying her share of the rent and find somewhere else

Ok so here is the down side.

The company that runs my building is called transglobe they all so run the building that my g/f lives in.

So she cant stop paying rent as i know that some how they will take it out on me as she lives with me.

The point of this all is to get him out as he is an ass and does onthing to help.

Have you considered buying a gun?

Epic win!!!

This guys got the right idea. Don't shoot him, just point it in his direction to make him easier to talk to.
