[QUOTE="EmpCom"]I love the way lots of people have said beat him up etc, prob not the best idea as you may come of worse and remember if the cops are not doing anything now you can bet they will arrest you. This problem is between your girlfriend and her roommate as its her that invited him to stay.I_pWnzz_YoU

The roommate wants him to be there and says that he does not need to pay rent as its not his plase.

My g/f has moved in with me as she cant take staying with them any more but she is still paying rent.

We need to find a way to kick him out or get him on the lease so he starts paying rent if he wants to be there.

Your girlfriend needs to talk to her roommate about the situation and if it cant be resolved she needs to stop paying her share of the rent and find somewhere else

Ok so here is the down side.

The company that runs my building is called transglobe they all so run the building that my g/f lives in.

So she cant stop paying rent as i know that some how they will take it out on me as she lives with me.

The point of this all is to get him out as he is an ass and does onthing to help.

Have you considered buying a gun?

Epic win!!!

This guys got the right idea. Don't shoot him, just point it in his direction to make him easier to talk to.

Great idea agreeing with an idiot .

Is there any way you can pressure the landlords by threatening to bring suit against them? To get her off the lease, I mean. Saying that they breached the contract by not kicking the guy out after two weeks? I realize that you are leasing from the same people, but how much longer is your lease?

My husband faced the same problem last year(before we were married) and he just wound up paying rent and his third of the utilities while he wasn't living there, so I can understand your frustration. Just call the company and tell them that she feels unsafe with him living there and that they have failed to hold up to their end of the bargain. See what happens.

What would you do if some jackass is staying at your place, eating all your food and moving your stuff without paying rent?

My g/f live's with her friend and that friend has let her new b/f move in with them.(she has only know this person for 2 days before letting him move in)

This person does not work or help pay the rent and eat's all the food only to let my g/f pay for it,

Its not that easy to say stop paying for food as she has a 2yr old kid and he eats all the kid's food not careing if the kid has no food.

Her lease says that he can only he there for 2 weeks out of the yer but the person has now been there for over 10 weeks.

She has asked him to get out but he said no she all so called the cops but they cant do anything.

We went to the landlord and there not going to do anything to kick him out or get him on the lease so that he starts paying rent.

It got the the point that he like my g/f room better then his g/f so when she was at work he moved all of her stuff in to there old room.

We ended up getting the old room back but we had to put a lock on the door.

I have been looking at the landlord and tenant act to see if i can find anything but no luck so far

If any one has any info it would help.

PS we are in canada dont know if that matters.

Try and get him out of the house for a good hour or 2, buy some locks and lock the front door, throw out his stuff and it's all sorted....no one gets hurt!

OR get a simple water gun and spray paint it black. It works for robbing banks too (don't ask).:D

Wait I don't understand. Couldn't you just have the police escort the guy out of the house?

Kick him in the face until you correct his brain damage. This is nothing a little violence can't solve.

Maybe you should move in with her, or tell her to find a new place, if the lease has been broken and no one is doing anything about why not have her break the lease and leave?

This is what I was thinking. You can take your gf's roommate and/or the landlords for breach of contract because there is a written document (the lease) that a person not on the lease has to leave after two weeks. Keep paper trails and receipts and even let the roommate know that you are seriously going to go through with this - so maybe this will encourage her to actually do something about it.

Also, the above could be a good way for your girlfriend to get off the lease so that she doesnt have to be binded to it and pay any more rent since obviously the living situation has become hostile environment -- which is also a great causality to nullify that lease so your gf can leave. She can say that the living situation has become hostile for her that she is fearful for her safety and because the landlords and her roommate have breached this contract -- she sould be able to consider it nullified and she can leave.
