can you guys list some metal or rock bands that are amazing, i know alot already but im asking other people because i need to see what else is out there.

i like anything with amazing guitar and drums, but anything else is welcome. thanks=]

Progressive Metal - Queensryche (still the best in the genre), Threshold (close second, amazing songs), Tool, Savatage, and Pain of Salvation are all amazing. Dream Theater is extremely overrated, so don't start out with them.

Traditional Metal - Dio (arguably best singer in metal), Jorn.
