Apologies in advance as I know this won't be much help but I nearly flunked out of my Visual Basic course back in high school. I retained the information for a while but it's long gone now. Sorry.

In visual basic 6, you use the Menu Editor

to get to menu editor, u must be viewing the object, then click on Tools, then Menu Editor.

Once on the menu editor, create the menus...

To get a SUB menu for a menu, highlight the menu in the big white box below, and click on the 'black right arrow' to move it over. once u move it over, you'll see 4 or more dots before it.

1. Open up your form.
2. Drop a menu strip onto the form. It'll appear as an icon at the bottom.
3. Click on it to select it.
4. You'll now see a menu box on the top of the form. Just type in your menu options.
5. To make a suboption, just enter a menu name to the right data entry box instead of the bottom one.
6. After I'm done laying out the menus, I usually select them and go into properties to give them decent names.

This is for VB.Net btw....Â
