New cartoons are terrible

What happened to the classics like Rocko, Hey Arnold, Ed Edd n Eddy and Johnny Bravo? These new ones are so bad I can't even finish a episode. Even the new anime sucks. The ones like DBZ, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop were great action animes. The new animes like Bleach and Naruto are pathetic.

Johny Test is an OK new show, IMO.

Iron Man Armored Adventures was okay. I dunno what happened to Season two, though. I thought it was going to be made, but then....more and more Avatar reruns. Not that it's a bad thing.

The only cartoon I'm watching currently is Adventure Time. It's almost as good as Invader Zim and SpongeBob.

Bleach and other anime are ok. They have their ups and downs, but will never top DBZ. An opening like DBZ would make me have a nerdgasm.

There are a ton of others that are damn close to everyone of these.

TC, don't generalize much. There are still new cartoons that are decent, at least.

For domestic cartoons, Looney Tunes never felt old so long as they're from the 70's or later. I also liked watching Johnny Bravo from that generation. Closer to current, The Clone wars are also good.

Absolutely... I remember waking up at about 9 or 10 o clock on a sunday morning and watching Tom & Jerry or Wile E Coyote ... When I was about 8 or 9...then later, watching Johny Bravo, Swat Cats, Biker Mice From Mars, Captain Planet or even The Powerpuff Girls, the first ones....Just beautiful...

There's this show on Cartoon Network called Symbiotic Titan. Its pretty IMO, I think you would like it if you were a fan of Samurai Jack.flash_drive

Why people are watching cartoons aimed at kids, with a few exceptions is beyond me.

The thing is that you all suffer from nostalgia, believing everything in your childhood was quality, but to the 60 year old, the old mickey mouse was quality and stuff like courage the cowardly dog is just downright lame, and now you are going through the same fase, and in the next decade these kids will baww how the future cartoons are horrible compared to what we have today. It's an evil circle. Face it, the shows we watch as kids are downright bull, but we grow attached to them just like kids today will be attached to naruto and Phineas and ferb.

You dont have their mindsets, stop watching those shows, they were never intented for you in the first place.

well i think you're wrong...I am 24 now and I loved mickey mouse and all the old cartoons...disney, everything...they were actually good...the old tom and jerry were made in the 40's or 50's and I still think they're good...everything disney made was fun...everything I see now is just crap...pure crap

I agree. The last two cartoons I actually watched were Wolverine & The X-Men and Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Those were entertaining.

There's not really that many good cartoons now-a-days, except South Park, the channels that used to have lots of good cartoons now have... *sigh* kids' reality TV shows...:|

One I've liked lately was one called Kid vs Kat.

I only catch a bit in the morning before I go to school, but it's funny and has the enjoyable and nostalgic cartoon violence. :P
