Be original
Take a look at this person's drawing. It's the same thing, but looks better than yours.

Credit for the drawing above goes to *NgBoy from DeviantArt.com.
I don't take plagiarism lightly.

Yeah, I based it off that picture. I did not copy it directly, I simply did it by my own. I am a great fan of NgBoy, and I want to improve my drawing skills, I am currently 13 and don't take drawing c lasses, and I really want to be better. How is it plagiarism if I drew it on my own, and did not take the exact picture and take credit for it... I don't understand that at all.
You know, everyone has to start somewhere...
You could have done something other than that...like put him in another pose. Use *NgBoy's artwork as inspiration instead creating a copy of the drawing.
Here's some advice, if you're learning how to draw using another artist's drawing, try using that person's s.tyle and technique instead of reproducing their artwork.
To be honest, you have potential, but you need to start off on the right foot.
I see, well I just wanted to test out the right proportions, because I'm "meh" on that, so this has tought me more about it. I understand what you're saying, and next time I post a drawing, I'll be sure to be original.
