A Nikon D200.  And yes, this camera was in the running while I was still deciding which caamera to get.
BTW, at the top of the pictures he took, he did list what equipment he used.  :)

I couldn't find a 50mm 1.7 lens over at Sony's website.  But they did have a fstop 1.4 which really rocks.  I think I'll put that one on my wishlist

#6 is great. It reminds me of a project I did three years ago when I lived out in the country. For a year, on the first week of each month I took a photograph from the same postition of a little creek that flowed over some rocks. It was an interesting project.

So we have had some flooding around here recently, so these first 2 are of the flooding.

Unfortunately Sony doesn't make one, you can only get them made by Minolta. They are excellent and should run you under $100, so if you can find one go for it.

50mm lenses.  They should go back to selling those with camera bodies rather than those small zoom lenses.  Nice photos as always.  You should post some of your work at Photo.net sometime.

Ahhh, the venerable 50mm lens.  I had many a camera where that lens came standard.  Took great portrait shots with it.
I'm really looking forward to getting that 1.4 lens now.  I think it's worth the investment

It will absolutely be worth the investment. :) There's nothing quite like having f/1.4...except for of course f/1.0.. :P
