The episode was pretty much what I expected. It was alright, and funny at times. Ashton Kutcher is a cool guy, but it's Charlie Sheen who carried that show.
Sheen and Warner Bros. are in negotiations, and said to be on the verge of a settlement. This means that the whole escapade (drug induced ranting aside) wasn't entirely Sheen's fault, and it's Warner Bros. that were in breach of contract. Alcohol, drugs, whores, or whatever the case, he apparently always showed up to work on time and acted professionally. I'm hoping Charlie returns (they can easily put him back in).
As for the show in its current state, I'm going to give it another chance. I'm sure it will be funny, but it just won't be the same without Sheen, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. I enjoyed the Sheen roast on the Comedy Network last night more than the Kutcher premiere.
