The study was only based on the amount of restriction on gambling, drugs, tobacco, liquor, marijuana, prostitution and fireworks. I'm happy all of those things are absent from NYC.

Actually as a New Yorker, born and raised, I like the regulations that the study focused on. Obviously, no one likes taxes, the lower the better. But everything else I would want to be closely regulated like guns, gambling, drugs, tobacco, liquor, marijuana, prostitution and fireworks. Its a cultural thing. Other parts of the country may want a gun in their glove compartment, fireworks in their trunk, drugs in their pocket, and a hooker in their backseat but its different in NY. In the 80s NY was one of the most dangerous cities. Now NY is the safest major city per capita. I clearly we are doing something right. I rather be safe if it means its harder to get a gun or prostitute.

P.S. We also made it legal to walk around with either 8 or 16 ounces of marijuana, so we arent that bad. Except for the taxes, too damn high

Typical of OT liberals to take what was said out of context. No study is posted or was posted and the website showing what states have the best and worst personal freedoms shows that most of the liberal states are also the ones with the least amount of personal liberties. Gee, with all the talk about inclusiveness and acceptance, they really go out of their way to not make people feel welcome or free.

are you going to now talk about what political spectrum he actually belongs to and belittle their OT subgroup? Or will that go against your narrative?
