Yeah I know that scream but it's not the one I actually hear the most. There's this lower pitched one along the lines of "ooooo-waugh" that I hear it every other commerical and video game involving somebody falling or getting hit with something. It's about as common as that damn backwards match sound they use for all fire ignition.

Is it the one at 20 seconds in video?

No unfortunately not. I'll just have to pay more attention the next time I hear it and scribble the info down as I've been hearing it quite heavily over the last 10 years or so. I swear I hear it much more often than the Wilhelm scream, in fact at first when I heard of people talking about the Wilhelm scream I thought they were talking about the one I'm referencing because I hear it so much.

You watched the video links in the first post? Here's a simple audio file of the scream alone, if that helps:

Yep, I've heard it before. The first time I did was probably in Star Wars.

Oddly enough i think i might now it by the description "ooooo-waugh" but i cant think of exactly where i've heard it. I think its at the end of one of The Beatles songs, I dunno try listening carefully to the end of "I Am The Walrus" and see if thats it. I dont know if thats the song though its just a guess.

Edit: Oh nevermind the one I am thinking of makes more of a "waugh-ooooo" sound as opposed to a "oooo-waugh" sound.

That sounds really silly and cliche to me.

I actually laughed to the first link.
